Ole Miss Rebels Give Back to Community with Children's Hospital Visit

The Ole Miss Rebels football team made a special visit to Children's of Mississippi in Jackson, a two-and-a-half hour trip from Oxford, on June 10. The team's gesture of kindness brought joy to children battling serious ailments. Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss was spotted signing autographs and taking photos with patients, while defensive back Jaylen Braxton joined youth on the playground slide and monkey bars. Running back Joshua Dye played a round of Connect 4 with one of the children. The visit was a continuation of the Ole Miss Rebels' tradition of giving back to the community. Since taking over as head coach, Pete Golding has emphasized the importance of community engagement. Golding noted the team's strong home record since his arrival in 2023, crediting the fans for creating a difficult environment for opposing teams. The visit to Children's of Mississippi is a testament to the team's commitment to giving back to those who support them. The children's hospital is a dedicated pediatric arm of the University of Mississippi Medical Center, making it a natural fit for the Ole Miss Rebels to show their support. The team's upcoming football season is set to begin on September 6 against Louisville in Nashville.
